Sinopsis
In his debut work, filmmaker David Rodríguez Suárez constructs a fictional universe to deconstruct the raw realities of modern sport. LA 1907 is a stylistic tribute to Spanish football and its deep-rooted connection to daily life, while simultaneously serving as a sharp critique of the industry's darker corners. Blending "costumbrista" cultural markers with a refined artistic lens, the film explores how fanaticism can breed inappropriate behaviors, specifically focusing on sexism and political polarization
